Saemaul Undong is a “Movement to live well” that started in 1970.
Korea have overcame national crisis and experienced successful economic development via Saemaul Undong with the “Can Do” spirit to overcome poverty.

The great legacy of Saemaul Undong, that has been continued for 52 years,
is recognized as a valuable cultural heritage that contributes to the co-prosperity of mankind throughout the global village.

Today, the Saemaul Undong will take the lead in creating a "warm country living together" with
challenges and innovations toward the "future" beyond the past achievements and honors, and achieving the brilliant prosperity of a free Korea.
