On October 12, 2015, Saemaul Undong Academy was held opening ceremony in Central Agriculture Research and Training Center(CARTC) in Myanmar.

The Academy has a goals to make a motivation of Saemaul Undong and encourage making a succesful Saemaul Undong model villages.

The ceremomy was held with geusts from all walks of life. Shim, Yoon-jong, the president of Korea Saemaul Undong Center, attended and said, I would like to keep good cooperation with Myanmar government.
