On November 6, 2015. Saemaul Undong Awareness Seminar held in Timor hotel, Dili, East Timor. That day, approximately 160people participated this Seminar.

The seminar was held to promote a successful enthusiasm of PNDS(Programa Nasional Denzenvolvimentu Suku <Portuguese>) and to spread Saemaul spirit, Diligence·Self-help·Cooperation.

Secretary General of Korea Saemaul Undong Center, Mr. Cho Myung-soo, also was invited and gave a special lecture Koreas economic development & Saemaul Undong.

Mr. Cho said, "The key point of Saemaul Undong is self-help. when people get a faith can do, country can develop."

East Timor will be attend Saemaul training in earnest from March 2016.
