[Feb. 12, 2016] The Minister From The Solomon Islands Visits The Saemaul Museum

Jimson Fiau Tanangada who is the minster of rural development department and the fellow workers in the parliament visited the Saemaul Undong training center on February 12.

 

At the beginning, the invitees to the Saemaul Museum watched the video of the global Saemaul Undong. After the watching, they learned about Saemaul Undong’s history from its birth and forward-looking activities in the second movement of Saemaul Undong by touring the Museum.

 

Mr. Tanangada said ‘I learned the Saemaul Undong is one of successful rural society development movements that drew the self-participation of people‘, and ‘I really want to adjust Saemaul Undong to our rural area’s development model’.

    

He attached ‘for gearing up to our national education under Saemaul Undong’s concept and rural development project, I plead progressive helps from Korean government and Korea Saemaul Undong Center’.
