Cecep Effendi, the general manger of CIRDAP(Centre on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific) came to Saemaul Museum with his 6 junior staffs last February 23.
It is arranged in terms of ‘Strengthening Capability Project of the CIRDAP’ and OECD Korea Policy Centre is progressively in charge of this project.
The visitors watched the video of Saemaul Undong and learned about Korean Saemaul Undong and
Second-Saemaul Undong by touring the exhibition hall.
Cho, Myungsoo, the secretary general of Korea Saemaul Undong Center, delivered the lecture on Saemaul Undong in Korea at the PR room of the Saemaul Museum this day.
Cecep Effendi said, “The Saemaul Undong as the sustainable model of agriculture development is quiet impressive.” and he added, “I’d like to give publicity Saemaul Undong to various developing countries in Asia-Pacific area by making brochures through cooperation with Korea Samaul Undong Center.”
