Sutrisno Bachir, the chairman of National Economic and Industrial Council in Indonesia, and his fellow workers visited Korea Saemaul Undong Center last May 17th.
The guests had time for touring the Saemaul Museum and meeting with SO, Jin Kwang, the president of Korea Saemaul Undong Center, to discuss about cooperative measures for Saemaul Undong.
Also, they met the trainees who are currently participating the Saemaul Training for Afghanistan·Indonesia in Korea Saemaul Undong Center and had detailed talks about Korean Saemaul Undong and Saemaul Training.
SO, Jin Kwang who explained the essentials and value of Saemaul Undong said, “Korean Saemaul Undong won success thanks to voluntary participation from villagers. I sincerely hope the rural development policies which combine Saemaul Undong with Indonesia’s Trisakti will gain a great success. Also, I will make an effort to work closely together with Indonesia for Saemaul Undong.”
