Ajayi Joel Olabisi, a reporter of National Mirror(the Nigerian newspaper), had interview with SO, Jin Kwang, president of Korea Saemaul Undong Center, to cover Korea Saemaul Undong on last 21th at Korea Saemaul Undong Center.
They talked about Korea Saemaul Undong in 1970s, eradication of poverty, women’s role, implementation plan for global Saemaul Undong and advice for Nigerian government which currently experiences conflict among their people.
Mr. SO said, “Most of social issues result from lack of community spirit. Nigerian government has to discover passionate leaders and cultivate them to develop their community.”
“I sincerely hope Nigeria becomes a progressing nation where many people live better with Saemaul Undong. Also, I really want Mr. SO to visit my country and give a lot of talk on Saemaul Undong to villagers and other more people in Nigeria.”, the reporter described.
