[June 30th, 2016] President So visited Chong Sari-Oi SMU model village in Kyrgyzstan

 So, Jin Kwang, president  of Korea Saemaul Undong Center visited Chong Sari-Oi village in Issyk-kul province on June 30th with the company of his visiting group members during his visit to Kyrgyzstan from June 26th to July 2nd, 2016.

 

 

 

“Chong Sari-Oi village is one of forty-eight SMU model villages fostered in Kyrgyzstan and I really hope that the communities of the village could get better off with their active participation on Saemaul Undong”. In this regard, he added remarks to villagers saying, “I would like to ask all of you to actively take part in the movement with a sense of ownership as well as a strong belief that your village’s development is not only for your individual benefit but also for the sake of your country”, said President So during his visit to the village.

 

 

 

“Several village leaders including Mr. Askar Zhaiylbekov and Mr. Zhanyl Uchkempirova had chance to participate in the Saemaul training in Korea last March. So I can proudly say that we are implementing Saemaul Undong with the active participation of the village leaders and villagers living in our village”, mentioned Mr. Abdykalykov Ulan, Head of the township.

 

In particular, Chong Sari-Oi village is pushing forward several living-conditions improvement programs such as the clean-up of the village including streets as well as water-saving movement, introducing water-saving machineries to villagers with the establishment of the drainage system in the village.
