SO, Jin Kwang, president of Korea Saemaul Undong Center, had a meeting with Mongoldorov Damir, vice-governor of Issyk-kul province in Kyrgyzstan, at its government building last July 1st.
Vice-governor said, “I heard that the DNA of people both in Kyrgyzstan and Korea is a match of 70%. Thus there are many parallels between the two countries. I expect us to build a true friendship and cooperate closely by sharing the Korean Saemaul Undong experiences.”
“Issyk-kul province has high possibility of development besides agriculture part. In spite of its high possibility, it must be achieved by practice. Kyrgyzstan has already learned how to practice with Saemaul Undong. I hope Kyrgyzstan can be a flourishing and progressive nation now and for ever. We, Korea Saemaul Undong Center will be dedicated to supporting 5 villages in Issyk-kul province to implement Saemaul Undong more actively.” SO, Jin Kwang, Ph.D., president of Korea Saemaul Undong Center, explained.
