[September 6th, 2016] The Saemaul Training for Yeungnam University Foreign Students

Korea Saemaul Undong Center is holding the Saemaul Training for 36 Yeungnam University Foreign Students from September 6th to 8th.

 

 

The trainees from 20 countries including Asia, Africa, South America and Oceania can learn knowledge and success case about Saemaul Undong. Also, they will investigate useful ways to apply it to their own country through this training.

 

 

In terms of the commissioned training by Park Chung Hee School of Policy and Saemaul in Yeungnam University, it focuses on instilling a sense of responsibility and duty into their mind in eradicating poverty and building a sustainable basis of the development as a professional.

 


“Saemaul Undong had been started in a village unit and had been spreaded in many cities and factories of Korea. All of workers put their heads together to analyze problem and to suggest effective solutions such as incentive system. Saemaul Undong, eventually, had been campaigned as the community movement entire Korea area”, SO, Jin Kwang, the president of Korea Saemaul Undong Center, emphasized at his lecture.
