17 government officials from three countries in Central and South America are participating in the Saemaul Training for Colombia · El Salvador · Honduras from November 15th to 24th in Korea Saemaul Undong Center.

This training aimed at local public officials is organized to eradicate poverty and build up a sustainable development foundation. Also, it focuses on instilling the Saemaul Spirits of dilligence, self-help and cooperation, as well as seeking for applicable plans to their country based on different success cases of Saemaul Undong.

SO, Jin Kwang, the president of Korea Saemaul Undong Center, stressed. "The Korean Saemaul Undong experience can suggest practical and useful alternatives to your country in developing rural community through this training."
