Federation of Saemaul Mini-Libraries held awards ceremony for National Reading competition. It was sponsored by the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Korea Saemaul Undong Center and Daeshin parcel service company.

This 36th annual competition was designed to promote culture to make a wide variety of reading a way of life for family and local residents and improve the dignity of cultural community movement.

The competition evaluated activity of Federation of Saemaul Mini-Libraries in this year by dividing into four sectors: comprehensive evaluation, operations (Saemaul Mini Libraries?Reading Club?Mobile Library?Talent Donation Club?Cyber space), book report and letter article.
