The Saemaul Undong training for Saemaul leaders from Lao PDR was held at the Korea Saemaul Undong Central Training Institute from December 13 through 22, 2016. This program was organized to build up the foundation of the sustainable development in Laos, fostering Saemaul leaders, who can motivate and encourage their villagers to participate in the movement more often. As part of the training course, various programs such as lectures, and small group discussions were organized to change their way of thinking with the Saemaul spirit such as diligence, self-help, and cooperation.
