Manasseh Maelanga, the Deputy Prime Minister of Solomon Islands, Parliamentary Members of Vanuatu and their fellow-workers visited Korea Saemaul Undong Center last Feb. 1st to learn implementation process and success factors of Saemaul Undong and discuss how to apply them to their respective countries.
Manasseh Maelanga said, “I hope people in Solomon Islands can get an opportunity to participate consistently in the Saemaul Undong training continually for achieving economic and social development through Saemaul Undong.”

“I am sure that we can create a big synergy effect for development of Vanuatu when our people’s passion and the Saemaul spirits are combined together.” Nakou Natuman, the chairperson of Saemaul Undong in Vanuatu and the parliamentary member, also remarked.
President SO, Jin Kwang. Ph. D. of Korea Saemaul Undong Center responded to it. “I want to strengthen cooperation among us to pass on Korean economic and social development experience through Saemaul Undong to South Pacific countries.”
