?H.E. Dr. Joseph Agoe, Ghana charg? d&39affaires to Korea and his fellow workers visited the center and had a meeting with President SO, Jin Kwang of Korea Saemaul Undong Center on June 1.

At the meeting, Dr. Joseph Agoe said “The Ghana government has showed so much interest in Saemaul Undong as a solution to eradicate poverty in rural areas. I hope Korea Saemaul Undong Center supports us by providing Saemaul Undong training and sharing successful experiences and knowledge of Saemaul Undong.” 

To this, President SO, in his response, explained that “Saemaul Undong has different characteristic from general ODA in that it is the community development model with local people participation.” He added, “We, Korea Saemaul Undong Center will continuously support and collaborate with its related organizations for spread of Saemaul Undong in Ghana.”?
