President SO, Jin Kwang of Korea Saemaul Undong Center shared background, process, achievement of Saemaul Undong and discussed the practical ways to revitalize Saemaul Undong in Honduras with Prime Minister Dr. Jorge Ramon Hernandez Alcerro, visiting Office for Government Policy Coordination in Honduras on June 22.

Prime Minister Dr. Jorge Ramon Hernandez Alcerro said “Thanks to the effect of invitational Saemaul Undong training an increasing number of villagers in Honduras have been voluntarily implementing common projects by establishing their common goals with passion as much as Korean.”

To this, President SO, in his response, explained that “I hope youths between the two countries work together in the international society for global common prosperity through sharing Saemaul Undong experiences which are the successful community model and Honduras plays a pivotal role in Saemaul Undong Global League founded with 33 member countries last October.”
