Deputy Minister Mr. Phouang Parisak PRAVONGVIENGKHAM of Agriculture and Forestry and his fellow workers visited the Center and had a meeting with President SO, Jin Kwang of Korea Saemaul Undong Center on August 1.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister PRAVONGVIENGKHAM said “People in Laos have been actively implementing Saemaul Undong based on its nature and principles. It’s important to foster the development through mind-set change and advanced technologies, respecting our own traditional culture.” He added that “I also believe villagers and local residents in Laos can strengthen their capacity and improve their income by applying Saemaul Undong approach to the nation.”
