Korea Saemaul Undong Center held the completion ceremony of Saemaul Undong training for government officials from Armenia, Belarus, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan on last 27. The training has been organized from September 19 to September 28.

Main objectives of the course were to introduce participants not only to the core values and essence of Saemaul Undong, but also to a practical way of income generation through Saemaul Undong projects. This course will facilitate substantive willingness to adopt and practice the methodologies of Saemaul Undong in their own nations.  

Head HOVHANNISIAN AREG of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Asia, Pacific and Africa in Armenia said “Korea has wide experience for rural development. After returning my country, I promise to expand Saemaul Undong based on the knowledge and lessons that I have learned from here.”
