Korea Saemaul Undong Center organized a flag-raising ceremony of Saemaul Undong Global League(SGL) in front of its main building on October 12.

Forty-one representatives of each member country of SGL hoisted their national flag, wearing their traditional costumes, in front of four hundred-fifty people including representatives of SGL, Saemaul leaders and members.

During the Global Saemaul Leadership Forum 2016 from October 18 to 21, Korea Saemaul Undong Center declared on October 19, 2016, launching of the Saemaul Undong Global League with thirty-three original members.

The SGL is a global coalition which promotes network and collaboration between member countries by sharing success experience and knowledge of Saemaul Undong. Also, the main goal of the SGL is to develop value chain by reflecting distinct cultural, social, and economic circumstances of each member country and to expand it to all member countries of SGL.?
