An opening ceremony of Saemaul Undong training for Timor Leste was held by Korea Saemaul Undong Center at Korea Saemaul Undong Academy on last 20. Fifteen Saemaul leaders, villagers and two government officials from Timor Leste participated in the program. 

Main purpose of the program is to teach a basic theory on Saemaul Undong and roles of Saemaul leader for implementation of Saemaul projects, and to improve the quality of trainee&39s life by sharing experience of community development through Saemaul Undong.
