Bangladesh Ambassador Ms. Abida Islam to Korea visited Korea Saemaul Undong Center (henceforth KSC) and had a meeting to share practical experience of Saemaul Undong and discuss mutual cooperative ways with President Mr. Chung, Sung Heon on last 21.

Ambassador said “Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development(BARD) is in the beginning step for finding local development plans through Saemaul Undong. In line with this, I sincerely hope KSC gives full support so that Saemaul Undong can develop agricultural sector and improve a quality of resident&39s life in Bangladesh.”

To this, President Mr. Chung responded “I am really looking forward to strengthening the ability and potential to apply Saemaul Undong to Bangladesh and to effectively implement it. He added KSC will try to provide help to Bangladesh through an establishment of cooperation system.”
