Korea Saemaul Undong Center held “2018 Policy Workshop for Community Leaders of Saemaul Undong” for three times at Korea Saemaul Undong Academy, inviting approximately 1,000 people including presidents and directors of Saemaul branches in provinces, cities, guns(counties), and gus(districts).

At a time of peace and reconciliation between South and North Korea, the workshop was organized to perform a leading role as one of two million SMU members and discuss effective ways to implement goals of Saemaul Undong : Establishment of New Civilized Society through Life, Peace and Respect Movement and four priority campaigns : ‘Save the life’ campaign, ‘Share the peace’ campaign, ‘Make the community where people respect each other’ campaign, and ‘Improve the global community through Saemaul Undong’ campaign in each level.

Schedule of the workshop is as follows.
- 1st : June 18~19 / Seoul, Incheon, Gwangju, Ulsan, Chungchungnam province, and Gyeongsangbuk province
- 2nd : June 20~21 / Busan, Daejeon, Gyeonggyi province, Jeollabuk province, and Gyeongsangnam province
- 3rd : June 25~26 / Daegu, Sejong, Gangwon province, Chungchungbuk province, Jeollanam province, Jeju Island, and Five northern Korean Provinces ?
