Korea Saemaul Undong Center(President Yum, Hong Chul) will donate more than 1,200 pieces of clothing relief goods to members of the Global Saemaul Undong, which is suffering from natural disasters such as COVID-19, floods, typhoons and volcanic eruptions. The relief supplies weigh more than a ton were deposited by Eun Jong-kwang, the Leader of the Saemaul Male Association which is located in Yeonjidong, Jeongeup-si, Jeollabuk-do, Republic of Korea.
International Students studying at Yonsei Univ, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, University of Seoul and Kyungpook National University volunteered to sort clothing according to the climatic environment and difference in physique of the member countries. Foreign students from DRC(Democratic Republic of the Congo), Bangladesh, Vietnam, Ethiopia, Rwanda and United States of America gathered at the Korea Saemaul Undong Center to sort and pack clothes and share the pain of the global community. The clothes will be shipped to six countries including DR Congo, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Madagascar, Dominican Republic and Cambodia.
