Korea Saemaul Undong Center (President Yum Hong-chul) and U1 University (President Chae Hoon-gwan) signed a business agreement at the conference room of U1 University on the 28th (Thursday). The two organizations promised mutual cooperation for national and regional development and cultivating men of talent. Following the business agreement, the launching ceremony of ‘SMU club’ was held at Myeonghyeon Hall, and guests and students who attended the meeting vowed to practice carbon neutrality. In his congratulatory remarks, Yum Hong-chul, president of the Central Committee, urged the MZ generation to take the lead in cultivating a sense of community through creative club activities and practicing carbon neutrality in climate change, a global crisis. Meanwhile, the &39SMU Club’ was led by U1 University&39s social service center director, and took the first step with about 20 members, including club leader Lee Sang-won.
