GSLF 2021 was held on the 7th at the Crystal Ballroom of Lotte Hotel in Jeju under the theme of “Saemaul Undong-Where the Global Community Comes Together!‘ The forum, which was held online and offline, encouraged overseas Saemaul leaders and officials, shared best cases of the Saemaul Undong, and discussed regional development policies by country.

President Yum Hong Chul said in his speech that despite the difficulties of the COVID-19 pandemic, 34 villages in eight countries were implemented to create pilot villages and instilled confidence in residents that they could do environmental improvement, consciousness reform, and income growth projects.
