President Yum, Hong Chul of Korea Saemaul Undong Center had a meeting with Peruvian Ambassador to Korea Daul Matutue-Mejia on January 24th (Mon) at Korea Saemaul Undong Center reception room. On this day, President Yum and Peruvian Ambassador to Korea Daul Matutue-Mejia shared the experiences of Korea Saemaul Undong and discussed ways of mutual cooperation

At this meeting, President Yum said that he hoped that Korea Saemaul Undong Center and Peru would cooperate to provide an opportunity for Peru to further develop by applying Korea's Saemaul Undong to local areas in Peru and improving the abilities of Peruvian residents through Saemaul education and transmission of Saemaul Undong’s Guiding Spirit.

In addition, Peruvian Ambassador to Korea Daul Matutue-Mejia said that he hopes to reduce the gap between urban and rural areas and improve the quality of life of residents by applying Korea Saemaul Undong to Peru, where regional developmental deviations are severe.
