[Mar 18th, 2022] Visit of the first secretary of the Bolivian Embassy in Korea

Ronald Jose, the first secretary of the Bolivian Embassy in Korea, visited Korea Saemaul Undong Center on the 18th(Fri) and had a meeting with the International Cooperation Bureau Director General, Kweon and the working group to share experiences in Saemaul Undong and discuss ways to cooperate.

Ronald Jose, the first secretary of the Bolivian Embassy in Korea, proposed an MOU with Korea Saemaul Undong Center and expressed their willingness to cooperate with the Center to improve the quality of life between urban and rural areas by introducing Saemaul Undong Movement in Bolivia.

In response, Korea Saemaul Undong Center explained the necessary procedures for the promotion of Global Saemaul Undong Project and answered that it expects Bolivia to join Saemaul Undong Global League(SGL) and promote Saemaul Undong Projects based on the active participation and interest of the Bolivian government.

Currently, in Global Saemaul Undong in Latin America, Honduras has been designated as a Saemaul Undong Pilot Country from 2019, and Saemaul Undong is being promoted in four villages. In 2022, the Dominican Republic is additionally selected and being promoted.
