On September 20th, President Kwak Dae Hoon attended the Saemaul Undong Forum held in Goroka, Papua New Guinea.

The forum, attended by various dignitaries, including the Governor of Eastern Highlands Province, the Undersecretary of the National Planning and Monitoring Department, regional assembly members, Ambassador Kang Ho Jung of South Korea to Papua New Guinea, Saemaul leaders, and local residents, became a meaningful gathering where everyone came together through Saemaul Undong​.

During the forum, President Kwak emphasized the close cooperation between the two countries and the spread of Saemaul Undong​​ in his keynote speech.

Later, he traveled to the capital, Port Moresby, to meet with Prime Minister Marape. During the meeting, Prime Minister Marape pledged active support for the integration of Saemaul Undong​ with the Rural Development Program in the Enga province, aiming for national expansion.
