On Friday, July 26th, the opening ceremony for 2024 Fiji Overseas Volunteer Corps was held in Korea Saemaul Undong Academy Lecture Room 2.

The ceremony began with an introduction of the volunteer corps, followed by a demonstration of the volunteer program, the reading of the declaration, and the presentation of volunteer supplies.

The 50 members of the Fiji Volunteer Corps will practice sharing based on the Saemaul spirit of diligence, self-help, and cooperation. They aim to enhance the prestige of Korea and Saemaul through cultural exchange and communication while engaging in responsible volunteer activities that empathize with the lives of local residents.​
