On August 7th (Wednesday), an opening ceremony for Saemaul Undong training program for trainees from Dominican Republic and Republic of Honduras was held in the Lecture Room 4 of Korea Saemaul Undong Center. 

This training aims to enhance understanding of Saemaul Undong and to share experiences among countries with the same language in Latin America. The program is attended by 18 government officials and leaders from Dominican Republic and 18 from Republic of Honduras.

Over 14 days and 13 nights, participants will undergo training through Saemaul Undong lectures, case studies, field trips, and group discussions. It is hoped that this will foster "Saemaul spirit" and strengthen the capabilities to carry out Saemaul projects.
