On Wednesday, August 21, a group of 20 people, including the market and officials from the Republic of the Philippines​ project site of Korea Partnership for Innovation of Agrigurlture(KOPIA), visited Saemaul Undong Museum.

During the visit, the group watched an introductory video about Saemaul Undong and toured the museum. They took time to understand the basic concepts and principles of Saemaul Undong, which played a pivotal role in South Korea's economic development.

We hope that the Saemaul spirit learned through this visit will serve as an opportunity for not only rural development projects in the Republic of the Philippines but also for regional development.​
